Hello Families!
My name is Sara McClintick and I am so thrilled to have the opportunity to be your child’s first grade teacher here at MACS for the 2017-2018 school year. This will be my SECOND year teaching at MACS! I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Southern New Hampshire University in 2010. I hold an NH teaching certification for Grades k-8 and I have various experience in almost all grade levels!
Previous Experience
I was a Reading Interventionist in the district of Merrimack for students Grades 1 through 4 for three years. I taught first grade for a period of time in Merrimack as well, as a long term substitute, where I fell in love with teaching first grade! Additionally, I have worked as a Paraprofessional in the district of Bedford in grades 4 through 6. For the last 8 years I have taught Special Education Summer School classes during the summer months as well.
On a Personal Note
I live in Merrimack with my two beautiful boys. Bradley is 6 years old and Nathan is 3. They are best buddies and they make me smile every single day! Bradley will be attending first grade in Merrimack this year, and Nathan will be starting preschool! I feel like I blinked and they grew up! In our spare time, we love to play dinosaurs, build towers, go to the beach, go fishing, play in our backyard, play hide and seek, and swim in my parents´ pool.
Things I LOVE:
The New England Patriots
The beach
Fishing
Kayaking
Country music
Singing
Dancing
Italian food (yum!)
